It is indeed another year of thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest and to thank God for making Davao City as one of the safest city in the whole world by website numbeo.com.

Around 23 contingents from Davao and neighboring provinces braved the heat in this year’s parade on the festival of all festivals, showcasing indigenous dances, costumes and props that showed the culture of Mindanao’s indigenous and Moro tribes. 

Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan is one of the major event of Kadayawan Festival. This year, the open category champion was Panay National High School (Sto. Nino, South Cotabato) 1st runner up - Tribu Salalan (Polomolok, South Cotabato) 2nd runner up - Talaingod, Davao del Norte.

While Davao based category champion was Holy Cross College of Calinan, 1st runner up was Magallanes Elementary School and 2nd runner up - Sta. Ana National High School.

Another highlights of Kadayawan Festival is the Pamulak sa Dalan (floral parade), depicting Davao’s abundant natural resources and rich wildlife. It is afterall the time of the year when the city’s flora and fauna proliferate in every corner.
